By using TrustFoodie, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how we operate.
The Application collects certain information when you use it. This includes:

TrustFoodie uses Google Gemini AI to power its core ingredient analysis feature. When you capture a photo of a food label or barcode, that image is securely transmitted to Google's Gemini API for processing.
While Google Gemini AI is highly capable, it may occasionally misread text or misinterpret ingredients — particularly from blurry, angled, or poorly lit photos. Barcode-based analysis relies on the AI's knowledge base and may not always reflect the most current product formulation. TrustFoodie is an informational tool only and should not replace professional medical, dietary, or allergy advice. Always verify critical information directly from the product packaging.
TrustFoodie offers an optional subscription called TrustFoodie Pro, which provides an ad-free experience and increased daily AI chat message limits. Subscriptions are processed through Google Play and managed via RevenueCat.
💳 Your payment information is handled entirely by Google Play. CoreEaseDigital never sees or stores your financial details.
TrustFoodie offers promotional codes that grant temporary access to TrustFoodie Pro features. When you redeem a promo code, the app connects to Firebase Realtime Database to validate the code.
🎟️ Promo code validation is fully anonymous. We never know who redeemed a code — only how many times it has been used.

The Service Provider may share information with third parties only as required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with trusted service providers who adhere to this privacy policy.
TrustFoodie is free to use and supported by advertising through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID to serve relevant ads within the app.
Subscribers to TrustFoodie Pro enjoy a completely ad-free experience. All banner and full screen ads are removed for the duration of an active subscription or promotional code access.
You can opt out of personalised advertising through your device's settings under Privacy → Ads.
Your scan history, dietary preferences, and promo code usage records are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. The Service Provider does not have access to this data.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by clearing the app's data through your device settings, or by uninstalling the app entirely.
To request deletion of any other data, contact us at coreeasedigital@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
TrustFoodie does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or via the Google Play Store.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
